Our Plan Assessors will calculate the energy efficiency and carbon emissions figures of the proposed building. This is based on your plans and specification details. It involves two distinct stages: Stage 1: The 'design' stage. Your Inspector will require the SBEM report along with your Building Control Application. Without the SBEM report, it is unlikely that your BCO/AI will allow building to commence. Stage 2: The 'as-built' stage. This is required when the building is completed. Midland EPC will provide the second half of the SBEM in order for your BCO/AI to sign-off the structure. Without a relevant SBEM report, it is unlikely that the building will be released from Building Control. |
